The short version: there are no verified GTA 6 cheat codes today, and there can’t be. Nobody outside Rockstar has the finished game, and Rockstar has said nothing about cheats. Treat any list you find before launch as a guess at best.
Why every list you find right now is suspect
A working code needs someone to have typed it into the final game. Since that can’t have happened yet, a page offering codes today is doing one of two things: recycling an older game’s list, or making numbers up. Codes have never moved from one Grand Theft Auto to the next, so an older list tells you nothing.
Four quick tests for a fake list
- It’s dated before November 19. No outsider could have tested it.
- The codes look familiar. Compare them with the GTA V table below.
- It names PC, PS4 or Xbox One. The launch versions are PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only.
- It wants a download. Rockstar’s console cheats have always been entered in the game. A “cheat tool” you must install is a security risk, not a shortcut.
What past Rockstar games suggest
The two most recent open worlds took different routes, and that is the most honest guide to what could happen.

Our reading: GTA 6 could use either system or something new, and a lean toward Red Dead’s approach would mean codes take longer to collect. That is speculation, not reporting.

What this page will do after launch
We won’t be testing codes ourselves, because we aren’t playing the game. If real cheats appear, we’ll add a code here only after at least two independent outlets report it, and we’ll name them.
